A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Wendel’s Diamond Jewelers on its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Wendel's Diamond Jewelers on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Wendel's Diamond Jewelers, for throughout the past twelve decades, it has attained a remarkable record of service to the Lancaster area. Founded by Albert Wendel in 1906, the store has been operated by the Palestrant family since 1988, and it has become well known for the quality of its merchandise; and

WHEREAS, The success of Wendel's Diamond Jewelers is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on its astute management and hard‑working employees. Due to their vision and initiative, this respected institution has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, Wendel's Diamond Jewelers has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this noteworthy enterprise maintains its unfaltering dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Wendel's Diamond Jewelers on its One Hundred Twentieth Anniversary and salute it as one of Ohio's finest businesses; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Wendel's Diamond Jewelers.
