A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Clay High School on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Clay High School on the celebration of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and
WHEREAS, This is an important occasion, and congratulations are certainly in order. Established in 1926, Clay High School has experienced tremendous change over the past century, and it has attained a tremendous record of service to the Oregon City School District and to the community. It has truly earned the esteem of the many students who have passed through its doors; and
WHEREAS, Schools are avenues that inspire a stronger society, and Clay High School has been steadfast in empowering each student for success through scholastic advancement, leadership, and preparedness. Clearly, this institution has grown thanks to the support of the community as well as to the values that have been introduced in the classroom, including respect, cooperation, and resolve; and
WHEREAS, We look with optimism to a future that continues to thrive as a result of the diverse academic journey promoted by Clay High School, along with its mission to inspire, excite, and educate. Indeed, this educational resource is a treasure to the Oregon City School District and an exceedingly well-regarded part of Ohio's public school systems; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Clay High School on its One Hundredth Anniversary and salute it as a fine Ohio educational institution; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Clay High School.
