A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring The Toledo Clinic on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to The Toledo Clinic on its Centennial; and

WHEREAS, Dedicated to caring for the health and well-being of the residents of the area, The Toledo Clinic has successfully incorporated concern and compassion with technology and professionalism to distinguish itself as an exemplary medical facility. Since its establishment by Dr. William A. Neill, Dr. James Magoun, and Dr. Kinsey Renshaw in 1926, the clinic has grown to over two hundred sixty-five independent physicians and associated healthcare practitioners in more than forty medical and surgical specialties, and it has remained staunchly committed to ensuring that the changing healthcare needs of local citizens are met in the most effective manner possible. Indeed, this outstanding institution has achieved a tremendous record of service to the community; and

WHEREAS, The Toledo Clinic's skillful and personalized delivery of vital healthcare services has earned it the confidence and respect of many. The fine reputation that the facility has gained is a credit to the dedication of the administrators, staff members, and employees who have given willingly of their time, abilities, and enthusiasm for the public welfare. Through their unwavering commitment to the highest standards of healthcare, the clinic will continue its tradition of excellence long into the future; and

WHEREAS, On the auspicious occasion of its Centennial, The Toledo Clinic has the unique opportunity to reaffirm its goals and to formulate new policies to meet the challenges of the future. This outstanding institution has certainly served as a shining example of responsible practices, and it has set the standard to which other medical providers can aspire; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate The Toledo Clinic on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to The Toledo Clinic.
