A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Kensington Intermediate School on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Kensington Intermediate School on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated September 22, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Kensington Intermediate School, for throughout the past century, it has played a valuable role in preparing countless young people to meet the challenges of the future. With the backing of the Rocky River City School District's unwavering commitment to educational excellence, the school has worked diligently to offer scholars a well-balanced curriculum that seeks to develop their academic and practical skills, and it has earned the gratitude and respect of students, families, and the Rocky River community alike; and

WHEREAS, Schools provide young people with much more than basic educational opportunities, and we are certain that in the years to come, Kensington Intermediate School will maintain its unfaltering dedication to helping pupils become capable, well-rounded individuals. As KIS celebrates this special anniversary, the students, staff, and alumni of this fine institution can be justly proud of its accomplishments; and

WHEREAS, Education is vital to our nation's continued economic and social well-being, and as the need for global learning and understanding increases, so do the demands placed upon our system of education. Over the years, all those associated with Kensington Intermediate School have consistently and effectively met these challenges, and they are deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Kensington Intermediate School on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kensington Intermediate School.
