A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Christ’s Brethren Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Christ's Brethren Church on the hallowed occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Since its establishment, Christ's Brethren Church has offered its members the pathway to a more meaningful life by illuminating and demonstrating the precepts on which the English church was founded. The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that exists among the parishioners not only prevails within the church edifice itself but also extends beyond those sacred walls to touch the lives of everyone encountered by these devout disciples; and

WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of the church's pastors, both past and present, Christ's Brethren Church has provided a source of moral guidance and spiritual motivation for each of its members. With the belief that "Jesus Never Fails," the church has experienced continual growth and enhanced the quality of life within Rubyville and the surrounding area, and it has earned the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so capably served; and

WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that represents dedication, commitment, and enduring faith. For the past century, the members of Christ's Brethren Church have kept their faith alive in their community, and on this special anniversary, the congregation has accepted the challenge of carrying its beliefs into the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Christ's Brethren Church on its One Hundredth Anniversary and pay tribute to all those joining in the celebration of this joyous event; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Christ's Brethren Church.
