A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team on receiving the 2016 Ohio Certified Public Manager Society President’s Award.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team on being presented with the 2016 President’s Award by the Ohio Certified Public Manager Society; and
WHEREAS, An intelligent and motivated group of individuals, the members of the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team are worthy of recognition. Those associated with the team worked to develop their knowledge and skills, and consequently, they established a project, entitled “the Civilian-Military Divide: Bridging the Gap,” to help improve the retention of State of Ohio military employees; and
WHEREAS, Willingly giving of their time, energy, and abilities, the members of the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team have striven to better the world around them, and through their generous contributions, they have earned the respect and esteem of many. It is through the unceasing efforts of people such as these that the State of Ohio continues to prosper and remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; and
WHEREAS, Amply demonstrating their ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence, the members of the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team, including Afrika Alsup and Colonel Kathryn Lowrey of the Adjutant General’s Department, Charles Bailey of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Darryl Graves of the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, and Gary Lehman of the Department of Developmental Disabilities, have truly displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to achieve superior results, and their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their workplaces, and their communities. Through their tremendous efforts, these people have set an example for others to emulate; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, honor the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team on its recent accolade and salute the members as fine Ohioans; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ohio Adjutant General’s Department Certified Public Manager project team.
