A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce on receiving the Ohio Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Excellence in Grassroots Advocacy Award.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce on being honored with the 2017 Excellence in Grassroots Advocacy Award by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce is deserving of the highest praise, for the organization has demonstrated a deep commitment to both advocacy and grassroots endeavors, and this outstanding achievement reflects the chamber’s stellar reputation. The fantastic contributions from everyone associated with this venture have not only helped make Medina a better place but have also helped to improve the State of Ohio as a whole; and 

WHEREAS, The success of the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce can be attributed to all those who have ably represented Medina and strengthened the potential of the community. This spectacular initiative is a shining example of responsible citizenship, and the chamber has earned the gratitude and appreciation of area residents for improving society; and

WHEREAS, Ohio’s economic prosperity depends on institutions such as the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce to support businesses that provide goods and services to the citizens of our state and nation. We are proud to note that it is through the dedicated efforts of individuals such as those who tirelessly support the group and are willing to invest in their communities that our country has continued to grow and prosper; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce on its superb attainment and look to the future with optimism; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce.
