A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Dylan Litreal on winning the weight throw event at the 2018 Division I State Indoor Track and Field Meet.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Dylan Litreal as the 2018 Division I State indoor track and field weight throw champion; and

WHEREAS, A student at Hilliard Darby High School, Dylan Litreal has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently to attain ultimate proficiency in his event, and as a result, he won the weight throw at this year’s Division I State Indoor Track and Field Meet; and 

WHEREAS, Dylan Litreal’s accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him this well-deserved distinction, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; and

WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to applaud Dylan Litreal on an exemplary season. Indeed, the same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation in sports will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, recognize Dylan Litreal on his state championship and salute him as one of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Dylan Litreal.
