A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Jason Mauk for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Jason Mauk for his loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and

WHEREAS, Throughout Jason Mauk’s distinguished tenure, he has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing his duties and fulfilling his responsibilities with the utmost excellence, efficiency and competence. Currently the chief of staff for the Ohio Senate, he has brought to his position a wealth of experience from his previous posts as executive director of the Ohio Republican Party and as an award-winning chief political correspondent for the Ohio News Network. During his time in the Senate, he has made many significant contributions to the state’s growth and development and has cultivated the potential of the employees that have worked for him; and

WHEREAS, The expertise Jason Mauk has shown in his endeavors has gained him the admiration and esteem of all those with whom he has been associated. He has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and enthusiasm in his endeavors, and we extend best wishes as he continues his career; and

WHEREAS, Jason Mauk’s contributions to the State of Ohio have been greatly appreciated by all those who have the pleasure of working with him. He has displayed exceptional devotion, responsibility, and enthusiasm in his endeavors, and we extend best wishes as he begins a new chapter in the private sector; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Jason Mauk for his exemplary service and applaud him as a fine Ohioan; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jason Mauk.
