A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring J.L. Draganic as the 2017 Ohio Cattlemen’s Association Young Cattleman of the Year.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to J.L. Draganic on being named the 2017 Young Cattleman of the Year by the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association; and

WHEREAS, A remarkable individual, J.L. Draganic is deserving of high praise, for he has combined concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the local agricultural community, and this prestigious distinction is a fitting honor to him for his tremendous efforts in his field. Through his unfaltering devotion, he has distinguished himself as a responsible and hard working Ohioan; and

WHEREAS, Willingly giving of his time, energy, and abilities, J.L. Draganic has striven to better the world around him, and through his generous contributions, he has earned the respect and esteem of the entire Fayette County community. We are certain that in the years to come, he will continue to demonstrate the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which he has become known, and he is truly deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, Agriculture is the backbone of our state’s economy, and at a time of increasing urbanization, when many are forced to depend on the services of a few to survive, farmers have shouldered the responsibility of feeding the world’s population with admirable competence and efficiency. As farmers’ efforts are all too often overlooked, it is appropriate that we pay tribute to individuals such as J.L. Draganic, who have contributed immensely to Ohio’s agricultural greatness; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 132nd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate J.L. Draganic on receiving the 2017 Ohio Young Cattleman of the Year Award and salute him as one of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to J.L. Draganic.
