To enact section 5.2522 of the Revised Code to designate the second week of November as "Ohio Diabetes Awareness-Heart Connection Week."

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 5.2522 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5.2522. The second week of November is designated as "Ohio Diabetes Awareness-Heart Connection Week" to raise awareness of the diabetes epidemic in this state and the connection between diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
