The House met pursuant to adjournment.

Pursuant to House Rule No. 23, the Clerk called the House to order.

Representative Edwards was selected to preside under the Rule.

The journal of yesterday was read and approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

The following bills were introduced:

H. B. No. 506 - Representative Manning, G.

To enact section 2151.3511 of the Revised Code to prohibit, unless determined to be in a child's best interest, placement of the child with a relative the child does not know or has never met.

H. B. No. 507 - Representative Manning, D.

To amend sections 317.22, 319.20, 323.25, 4503.06, 5721.18, and 5721.31 and to enact section 319.204 of the Revised Code to prohibit enforcement of delinquent property tax liens against owner-occupied homesteads and to require that any delinquent tax be paid before the title to a homestead may be transferred.

H. B. No. 508 - Representatives Cera, Sweeney.

Cosponsors: Representatives Brent, Denson, Brown, Galonski, Smith, K., Miranda, Strahorn, Skindell, Crossman, O'Brien.

To amend section 4141.29 and to enact section 4141.294 of the Revised Code to allow an individual to be eligible for unemployment compensation benefits for unemployment due to domestic violence.

H. B. No. 509 - Representative Fraizer.

Cosponsor: Representative Ginter.

To amend section 3721.02 of the Revised Code regarding expedited licensure inspection procedures for residential care facilities.

Said bills were considered the first time.
