A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team as the Grand Champion at the 2019 FIRST Lego League Legoland California International Open.

WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team on receiving the Grand Champion Award at the 2019 FIRST Lego League Legoland California International Open; and

WHEREAS,  The members of the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team are remarkable young individuals, who have combined talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to establish themselves as truly exemplary students. Indeed, they devoted countless hours to their project, entitled “Bernoulli Table,” which created the effect of artificial gravity, and the squad finished second in the robot performance competition and won the Grand Champion Award at this year’s FIRST Lego League Legoland California International Open; and 

WHEREAS,  Through practice and preparation, the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team members, Kunaal Gudavalli, Anya Zhang, Arwen Zhang, Sathvik Allipuram, Malcolm Masri, Max Imamura, Brandon Dietz, and Tyler Dietz, have displayed determination and motivation of which they can be proud. The squad’s efforts are truly admirable, for they have shown outstanding enthusiasm and expertise in all of their endeavors; and

WHEREAS,  The accomplishments of the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team are a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the members but also on their families, their mentors, Panya Bhinder and Cynthia Bryden, their coaches, Farid and Judi Masri, their schools, and their community. We look with optimism to a future that reflects the great discoveries and progress that can be achieved by Ohio’s next generation of leaders; therefore be it

RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team on its success and salute its members and advisors as fine Ohioans; and be it further

RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Dublin City School District 8 to Automate team.
