A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,  Celebration of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter, for throughout the past century, it has achieved a praiseworthy record of promoting the mission of city, town, and regional planning in the State of Ohio. The chapter’s accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its members and on the communities it serves; and 

WHEREAS,  Since its inception in 1919, the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter has enhanced the quality of life within the state, and its generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of many. We are certain that as this fine group maintains its unfaltering dedication to progress, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark; and

WHEREAS,  All those associated with the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter are to be commended for their foresight, dedication, and selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far beyond what was required or expected. These fine people have earned the respect and admiration of many and have set an example of concerned and responsible citizenship worthy of emulation; therefore be it

RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the American Planning Association Ohio Chapter.
