A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Tara Wilson as the 2020 Ohio Big Sister of the Year.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Tara Wilson on being named the 2020 Ohio Big Sister of the Year by the Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters State Association; and

WHEREAS, Tara Wilson is deserving of this prestigious accolade, which acknowledges her outstanding involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville and pays tribute to the fantastic mentorship she has provided to her little sister. Over the years, she has become an exceptional ambassador and spokesperson for the organization, and she is deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, A highly principled individual, Tara Wilson has given back to the community far more than she has gleaned, and her selfless contributions stand as the hallmark of responsible citizenship. She has expended countless hours and seemingly inexhaustible energy in the interest of others, and she has set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS, This award is a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on Tara Wilson but also on her family and her community. She has striven to fulfill her myriad goals in a competent and responsible manner, and it is through the unceasing work of people such as she that the State of Ohio remains a pleasant place in which to live; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 133rd General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Tara Wilson as the 2020 Ohio Big Sister of the Year and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tara Wilson.
