The House met pursuant to adjournment.

Pursuant to House Rule No. 23, the Clerk called the House to order.

Representative Abrams was selected to preside under the Rule.

The journal of the previous legislative day was read and approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

The following bill was introduced:

H. B. No. 729 - Representative Stewart.

To amend sections 5901.02 and 5901.03 of the Revised Code to require county veterans service commissions to include two members whose military service commenced on or after September 11, 2001, and to require one member of the commission to be appointed by the board of county commissioners.

Said bill was considered the first time.

MOTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS

Representative Jones moved that the following resolutions be read by title only and brought up for immediate adoption:

Honoring William Anthony Robinson as a 2022 Minutemen Award recipient.

Honoring Hanby Elementary School on its Centennial.

Observing World Sight Day in Ohio October 13, 2022.

H. R. No. 362 - Representative Young, T.

Honoring Erica Manto Paulson as the 2022 Ohio Poet of the Year.

The motion was agreed to.

The question being, “Shall the resolutions be adopted?”

The resolutions were adopted.

On motion of Representative Jones, the House adjourned until Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 9:00 o'clock a.m.
