A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators
on its One Hundredth Anniversary.

WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators on the auspicious occasion of its Centennial; and

WHEREAS,  Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators, for throughout the past century, it has achieved a remarkable record of service to the state. Founded in 1922, the association is comprised of secondary principals, assistant principals, athletic directors, deans of students, central office personnel, assistant superintendents, and curriculum consultants, and it has always been dedicated to the welfare of and advocacy for its members. The OASSA’s accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its diligent members, who are conscientious and hard-working Ohioans; and 

WHEREAS,  Over the past one hundred years, the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators has enhanced the quality of life within the State of Ohio, and through its generous contributions, it has gained the esteem and gratitude of the many citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as this worthy endeavor maintains its commitment to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; and

WHEREAS,  We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of organizations such as the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators that Ohio has earned a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its citizens and has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work. The group is truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators on its Centennial and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators.
