A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Mentor Lumber and Supply
on its Centennial.

WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Mentor Lumber and Supply on the memorable occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS,  Mentor Lumber and Supply is, indeed, deserving of high praise, for throughout one hundred years of operation, this fine company has attained a noteworthy record of accomplishment. The corporation has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and its success is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on its president, Tom Kirk, on his hard-working employees, and on the community; and 

WHEREAS,  Since its establishment in 1922 to sell lumber, coal, feed, and building materials, Mentor Lumber and Supply has experienced tremendous growth, becoming a pillar of the local economic landscape, and it has certainly enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. We have no doubt that as this worthy enterprise maintains its dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper; and

WHEREAS,  Over the years, all those associated with Mentor Lumber and Supply have epitomized America’s entrepreneurial spirit, and it is through the contributions of people such as these that our state has gained a reputation as a friendly, productive, and pleasant place in which to live. We are certain that in years to come, the company’s hard-working management and staff will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been the hallmark of the business; therefore be it

RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Mentor Lumber and Supply on its One Hundredth Anniversary and offer best wishes for continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Mentor Lumber and Supply.
