A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley on the occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is, indeed, a fitting tribute to Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley, for throughout the past one hundred years, it has achieved a praiseworthy record of service to the area. Founded in 1921 to help orphans and immigrants, the organization now serves ten counties, and its accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the endeavor itself but also on its dedicated management and staff and on the community; and

WHEREAS, Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area for a century, and its generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so capably served. We are certain that as this fine agency maintains its dedication to its mission, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has been its hallmark since its establishment; and

WHEREAS, All those associated with Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley are to be commended for their foresight, dedication, and selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far beyond what was required or expected. These fine people have earned the respect and admiration of many and have set an example of concerned and responsible citizenship worthy of emulation; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, celebrate Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley on its One Hundredth Anniversary and look forward to its immeasurable contributions to our society; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley.
