A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Fayette Christian School boys basketball team as the 2022 BCSO State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Fayette Christian School boys basketball team on winning the 2022 Buckeye Christian School Organization State Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Fayette Christian School boys basketball team is comprised of excellent athletes who collectively worked to showcase the talents of their exceptional squad. The Crusaders trained with diligence and combined the stamina of a young fleet of players with the drive of a seasoned group of leaders to defeat a tough Columbus High Street team with a score of 57-41 to claim this year’s BCSO State Championship. Time and again, they have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating their unflagging determination, and their impressive maturity and finesse have gained them widespread respect, even among their most daunting rivals. They are certainly deserving of this crown; and

WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young men, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that is sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks in part to the tireless efforts of an exceptional coaching staff and the support of their community, the members of the Fayette Christian School boys basketball team have met the demands of an extensive training regimen that has certainly paid handsome dividends; and

WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Fayette Christian School boys basketball team have set themselves apart as an excellent example of what a dedicated group of players can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. Throughout the season, these young men have developed into a group of dynamic athletic leaders, and they can rest assured that as they meet their future challenges, they will take with them the lessons of camaraderie, hard work, and discipline; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Fayette Christian School boys basketball team on its 2022 Buckeye Christian School Organization State Championship title and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Fayette Christian School boys basketball team.
