A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, commemorated October 22-23, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center, for throughout the past one hundred years, this fine medical facility has attained a remarkable record of service to the area. Founded in 1922 as Brown Memorial Hospital, the hospital joined the UH system in 1997, and it continues to inspire the trust, confidence, admiration, and superb quality for which it has become known; and

WHEREAS, The success of the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its astute management and hard-working employees. Due to their vision and initiative, this respected institution has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied patients, and it is truly deserving of high praise and

WHEREAS, Over the years, the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area. We are certain that as this worthy enterprise maintains its dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center on its One Hundredth Anniversary and salute it as a leader in Ohio’s healthcare industry; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center.
