A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Tarun Batchu on his award at the 2022 Invention Convention U.S. Nationals.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Tarun Batchu on his fine performance at the 2022 Invention Convention U.S. Nationals; and

WHEREAS, A talented young student, Tarun Batchu has striven to develop his capabilities, and consequently, he won a Specialty Award for Innovation in Electronics with his entry, AES CAGED (An Environmental Solution to Carbonic Acid Gas), at this year’s Invention Convention U.S. Nationals. In addition, he received an Industry Innovator Award in the sixth- to twelfth-grade energy category at the 2022 Ohio Invention Convention Honda State Finals with his entry, “Trident.” Through his remarkable efforts, he has set an example that deserves emulation, and he is truly worthy of admiration; and

WHEREAS, Tarun Batchu has amply demonstrated his ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence and has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to produce superior results. With his impressive project, he has distinguished himself as a bright and inquisitive young person, and we look forward to seeing what his fantastic future holds; and

WHEREAS, Tarun Batchu’s accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his school, and his community. He has exhibited a sincere desire to do his best in all of his endeavors so that he might fulfill his goals, and this, coupled with his maturity and initiative, shows his potential to become one of tomorrow’s leaders; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Tarun Batchu for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tarun Batchu.
