A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Jon Cross
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Jon Cross for his outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives; and

WHEREAS, Jon Cross is deserving of high praise for his dedicated service to the 83rd House District. An able steward to the State of Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through his endeavors as the chief executive officer and economic development director for the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. Indeed, he is a staunch supporter of the well-being of his constituency and has sponsored into law various bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; and

WHEREAS, Jon Cross is an effectual ambassador for communities throughout Hancock, Hardin, and parts of Logan counties, and he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader. In addition, he was appointed the Assistant Majority Floor Leader and has been active with the Energy and Natural Resources and Rules and Reference committees and the Finance Subcommittee on Higher Education, and his sincerity and integrity have distinguished him as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and

WHEREAS, Jon Cross has been characterized by his ambition and expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has established a record of personal and professional excellence that will stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Jon Cross as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jon Cross.
