A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring
the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team
as the 2023
Division II State Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team on securing the 2023 Division II State Championship; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team are to be heartily commended, for they have decisively earned the 2023 Division II State Championship. Without exception, they prepared conscientiously in pursuit of their goals, devoting countless hours to training and practice, and clearly, this demanding regimen has paid handsome dividends; and
WHEREAS, Coach Brian Baxter has demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team to victory, and his skill is reflected in the squad’s outstanding accomplishment. Due largely to his tireless efforts, he has gained the respect and admiration of all who know him; and
WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a host of adversaries, the members of the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team have epitomized the dedication and perseverance that befit true champions. Their first-place finish is a measure of their stalwart commitment to the sport, and their indomitable spirit has made their families, friends, and coach very proud; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team as the 2023 Division II State Champion and offer best wishes for the future; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Conotton Valley High School girls bowling team.
