A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team as the 2022 Ohio FFA Parliamentary Procedure Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team on winning the 2022 Ohio FFA Parliamentary Procedure Championship; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team are a dedicated and committed collection of students, and they leave behind a fantastic legacy for future FFA teams by winning first place in their event at the 2022 State FFA Competition and advancing to the 2023 National FFA Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event, where they placed in the top twelve and earned a Gold Emblem. Under the leadership of their advisors, members Catherine Wright, Ryan Bender, Chase Hamilton, Lacie Bachman, Zach Verley, Henry Hoisington, Delaney Moore, and Anna Sands have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and they have set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and

WHEREAS, FFA combines the wisdom and leadership of adulthood with the enthusiasm and optimism of youth so that our young people will be better prepared to assume meaningful, rewarding roles in society. It is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture and agribusiness lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals such as the members of the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team; and

WHEREAS, All those associated with the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team warrant the highest praise, for they have demonstrated exceptional diligence and enthusiasm in preparing for the rigors of competition, as well as an unwavering dedication to the goals and principles of the National FFA Organization. The maturity and experience these members have gained through their participation in FFA will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of tomorrow, and we are certain that their future holds great promise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team on its success and salute those involved with the group as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Bloom-Carroll FFA advanced parliamentary procedure team.
