A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Marysville Journal-Tribune on its One Hundred Seventy-fifth Anniversary.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Marysville Journal-Tribune on its One Hundred Seventy-fifth Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Celebration of this distinguished occasion is an appropriate time to pay tribute to the Marysville Journal-Tribune, for throughout the past one hundred seventy-five years, it has become known for excellence. This fine periodical has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied readers, and its success is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the newspaper itself but also on its astute management, on its dedicated employees, and on the community; and

WHEREAS, Over the years, the Marysville Journal-Tribune has provided comprehensive coverage of current events at the local level while maintaining the flexibility necessary to meet the changing needs and interests of area readers. Entertaining, educational, and informative, this outstanding newspaper has earned the loyalty of countless readers, and it has become one of Ohio’s most outstanding news publication; and

WHEREAS, The success of any newspaper depends largely on the dedication and hard work of its management and staff. For their integrity, skill, and unwavering commitment to excellence, all those associated with the Marysville Journal-Tribune are truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Marysville Journal-Tribune on its One Hundred Seventy-fifth Anniversary and offer best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Marysville Journal-Tribune.
