A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring National Machinery, LLC on its Sesquicentennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate National Machinery, LLC, on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary, celebrated September 17-19, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to National Machinery, for throughout the past one hundred fifty years, this fine venture has attained a remarkable record of service to its industry. Founded in Cleveland in 1874 by William R. Anderson and relocating to Tiffin eight years later, the company began by creating machinery to make nuts and bolts, and today it has become a global leader in cold and warm forming equipment for a variety of markets. It is truly worthy of acknowledgement; and

WHEREAS, The success of National Machinery is a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business itself but also on its astute management and on its hard working employees. Due to their tremendous vision and initiative, they have helped this respected enterprise earn the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and they are deserving of high praise; and

WHEREAS, Over the past century and a half, National Machinery has enhanced the quality of life in our society. We are certain that as this notable establishment maintains its unfaltering dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to grow and prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend National Machinery, LLC, on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to National Machinery, LLC.
