A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League of America Chapter 37-107 on its Centennial.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League of America Chapter 37-107 on the special occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated January 21, 2025; and

WHEREAS, This prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Tiffin-Seneca IWLA Chapter 37-107, for over the past century, this fine organization has endeavored to further its mission to protect and conserve our natural resources as well as to inspire outdoor recreation that promotes exploration and learning. Founded in 1925, this chapter has evolved to be ranked as the largest of its kind in the State of Ohio and has become a cornerstone of environmental stewardship and community engagement; and

WHEREAS, The hard work expended by all those who have supported Tiffin-Seneca IWLA Chapter 37-107 over the years has been a source of pride for the community and an outstanding reflection on the dedicated people who have given readily of their time and abilities to further the impact of the organization. Indeed, these individuals have played an essential role in helping Ohio develop an identity that allows its residents to take pride in what nature has to offer; and

WHEREAS, Tiffin-Seneca IWLA Chapter 37-107 has not only offered a variety of programs for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and youth to connect with nature but has also demonstrated good environmental stewardship and community engagement. Indeed, its profound efforts have made visiting the ten-acre scenic property along the Sandusky River a valuable experience for many; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League of America Chapter 37-107 on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing civic enhancement and success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League of America Chapter 37-107.
